I was going to post about the pork roast and sauerkraut, and I like that cranberry sauce idea.
Another one I like to do is a beef chuck roast with a can or two of jalapenos with the juice. Then shred the meat for a mexican meal (usually enchilada or taco).

I made pork chops in my crock pot for the first time this past week and they were delish no need for a knife, just a spoon to scoop them out of the pot LOL
Potatoes and Ham ; an easy throw together meal! Slice unpeeled potatoes, mix with some cut up ham and light Velveeta cheese and siced onion. Place in a greased slow cooker and top with a can of 98% fat free cream of chicken soup, cover and cook on LOW about 6 hours.

When I was young we used to go "skinny dipping"; now we just "chunky dunk"
Just yesterday I saw an upscale cookbook about The Vegetarian Crockpot. Now I wish I'd looked at it for ideas. I have one at home but didn't like the recipes. This one had color pictures I think and probably some better flavors. Sometimes it is hard for me to think of side dishes being prepared in the crockpot but I have a 1 qt and a 2 qt and a 1 1/2 qt so why not?
