We know many of you are super busy, but wants to be the best secret sisters you can be... yet some of you may be wondering :
where do I get e-cards,
what sites are good...
what is out there, or either so much out there, I don't have the time to look, so I just stick to one site.

This thread we feel will be your helpful tool for those days you are busy, or not sure where to go to find e-cards or poems but you want to send out one to your sister so you Would just need to click to get to that link.

We also need your input to other great sites as you find them. With everyone helping out and posting some wonderful sites too, we can learn from one another and make this a very Helpful tool thread.


This thread needs to ONLY be for posting sites NOT for chit chat... as if we chit chat here, the links will get lost.................so PLEASE Post only links and go to the Secret Sister Meeting Room to chit chat there PLEASE, if you have questions, go to the Q&A thread, where we see it and get back with you.before you list it, check to see if someone else may have already asked it.

I hope this is OK to post this here (if not--SORRY!!) but I had a great idea for a "Secret Sister" gift.......how about a small donation to that Sister's favorite charity--maybe $5.00??? Many places will send a nice card to the "donor-(i.e.--your Sister) thanking them for the gift...

For example---my hubby is a firefighter and a police officer---I would be thrilled if someone made a SMALL donation to their local volunteer fire department or to a local D.A.R.E. program in my name...

some others...

breast cancer awareness or any medical/disease related charity

local humane society or "no kill" shelter

Shriner's Burn Units--when my Mom passed away, my hubby's fire department sent a donation in Mom's name to the nearest Shrine's Hospital for burned children----what a thoughtful idea--I was soooo touched. I received a very nice card giving their condolences for my loss but thank you for the donation....

local homeless or women's shelters etc.

many areas have "bike runs" for charity--sponsor a rider

This is just a few that I could come up with--I know there are "zillions" out there....maybe others could post there ideas too.....

If I made a donation for my Sister--I would send her a nice card stating that I made a donation in her name to such & such place to let her know.....

this is a great idea, but ladies if you do this, please send a note to your secret sister that you done this, as it may take so long for them to get in touch with her that they don't remember which secret sister did it or don't get the information that you did it and they are thinking they have not received from you thier secret sister. so PLEASE make sure she knows you did...
