Double Chocolate Bread Pudding

Double Chocolate Bread Pudding


Prep Time: 15 min
Total Time: 1 hr 10 min
Serves: 12

Ingredients


5 cups cold 2% reduced fat milk

1 pkg. (8-serving size) JELL-O Chocolate Fudge Flavor Cook & Serve Pudding & Pie Filling

5 cups French bread cubes

1 cup BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks



Preparation
POUR milk into large bowl. Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes.

ADD bread; mix lightly to coat. Pour into 13x9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle evenly with chocolate chunks.

BAKE at 350°F for 45 minutes or until pudding just comes to boil in center. Remove from oven. Let stand 10 minutes. Serve warm. Store leftover pudding in refrigerator.

Great Substitute: Substitute 2 pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Chocolate Fudge Flavor Cook & Serve Pudding for 1 pkg. (8-serving size).

Melt chocolate in milk. Soften bread cubes in milk mixture. Combine eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla; beat well. Combine both mixtures; blend. Pour into greased 8 inch round baking pan. Bake by placing in another pan containing 1/2 inch of hot water. Bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven. Serve with whipped topping if desired.
