I know I'm not a ss, but my heart is here with you gals.
Tara, with my 2nd child, the dr broke the water and told me it would be about 2 hrs b4 the baby would be ready to deliever.
so he went back to his office, well about 3o minutes later, the nurse is calling him to tell him get back for the baby was ready. He had to leave a woman, to get back to me.
Each child is different, LOL

sorry for breaking up conv. just had to step in and say it has happened to others as well, so don't feel strange about it.

Hope all is having a great time. Hope to one day be back with all of you. I do miss it.

Thank you for the beautiful poem tonight sis, right now I'm just concentrating on getting my mom home from the hospital. We took her by rescdue yesterday at 6 a.m. She was so dizzy that she could not walk and was falling down. She's 84 and her bp was out of sight it was 174 /113 when I took it at 5:30 and it has gone that way from 70/45 to 198/ 120 at one time today. this p.m it has started coming down some and she has started to get out of bed and going on the potty beside her bed in the hospital. I'm hoping to get her home this week some time so Thanksgiving is going to depend on where she is at the time. But yes, I plan on just the 4 of us and roasting a turkey with all the fixin's and homemade pies.

Who has the cat story? I have a cat, and wouldn't trade him for the world. Makes me "cat-people" also.

Mom is not doing good, she has pretty much given up. She wants to make it to her 85th birthday which is in April and then she doesn't care. She is dizzy all the time and sleeps constantly. The dr.s have run all kinds of tests and can't find any reason other bp for the dizziness
