Hi everyone! Thanks for your Prayers for my Dad. He came home today but Please cont. to Pray for him! He's not 100% yet & I feel they discharged him too early. I didn't leave his house until 12:30am & he had a fever of 100.1
I'm sure Coll told you that Ashley had the baby! Jakob Alexander Horne. He was almost 8lbs. & 21 ins. & born at around 3am, I think. They are doing well.
My dh's cousin also had her baby, a little girl! I don't know her name or anything yet.I'm waiting for the details. There were /are some problems & they had to take the baby to Pittsburgh.
I'm hopefully going to the Glass & Ethnic Festival this weekend. We usually go every year but with so much going on it's up in the air.
Sis, i answer to your questions about weekend plans. I had a date last night with Doc to the fair. It was ok. We got something to eat, looked at all the crafts and flowers were entered for ribbons. My flowers are usually there too, but just didn't have time to get it together. There's a second flower show for next week. I'm gonna try to get mine in for that one. We also got something to eat and walked around just looking at the people, the rides (we didn't ride any) and all the games there. He didn't seem to be inclined to play any when I stopped and watched. You'd think he'd get the hint. But I didn't say anything. No big deal. My rheumatoild arthritis starting acting up in my hip so when e got to my house he didn't stay. I was tired and needed an icepack on my hip. Today most of the day I will be ath the Camp Dream Foundation food booth at the fair volunteering my time to raise money for the physically disabled and mentally challendged cildren. These profits will also help sponsor those kids that can't afford Camp Dream in the summer. That's a rewarding experience for me too. I look forward to it each year. Anyhow, most of today and tomorrow night will be working at the fair. All next week and the following week too. It's tiring but really alot of hard work and fun. Of course, tonight will be extra special because I will have my dgd spending the night as usual and going to church with me and spending time tomorrow until I go to the fair. This is all I'm doing this weekend. Do you have anything exciting you're doing?

Hi Sis, I understand about being a truck drivers wife. My dh drove over the rode for many years then for Waste management for many years after giving up over the road. He's come home after working 16 hours and fallasleep in his supper dish. Many times I had to wake him up and tell him to go to bed . he'd go to work at 2 a.m and I never knew when he'd get home. As for being busy with family I understand , I just went through what they call care giver burn out, taking care of my mom , dh after his cancer surgery and my gd. Just the other night I had to rush him in to ER because of intense pain in his lower right side. they gave him meds and sent him home. Take it from one who knows take, at leasst 10 minutes a day just for you. Get out of the house , read a book or do something that you enjoy just for that 10 min. with no interruptions and I know that is hard to do with a family.
Coll, I just noticed your sig line, I like the little poem.
SS, you did it again. I just opened up an wonderful poem with your one of your fav songs in it. Amazing Grace. I love that song too.
I wish I had my wings to fly.

I'm thinking of who you are, and came down with someone from Tx, which would be 2 out of 3 diff. people that are from Tx.
Or you could be 2 other people, but thinking more along the line of Tx folks, For if you were one of those others the cards and things are totally different from that person.

Good morning! Hey Sis, I understand all too well about being busy! Life seems to just get crazier & crazier! Thanks for letting me know about the package, I will watch for it.
So, what kind of repairs are you doing? I'm wanting to paint my kitchen cabinets. They've needed it forever! I have to sand them down a little 1st,paint & put new handles on. It's going to be a project!!! I just haven't been able to find the time! My dh's Grandfather built them & there are alot of them! We live in an old farmhouse. I bought the paint, I'm doing a Country Blue. It's just a matter of when I get to it,lol.
I'm going to go get some coffee & then make pancakes for everyone. I already did dishes & laundry. Then I need to get ready as my mil & sil are to come over today. So, off I go ! Have a Beautiful Day!
So, it has been doing alot of raining where you live, eh? We had some of that ourselves, and I love the rain! I also love the snow! But, if you think about where I am~~we don't see it much, so it is kind of a novelty for us. When it gets that cold around here, I always say that if it is going to be cold enough it may as well snow!
I have absolutely NO idea who you are! But, I don't do too much detective work as I like the secrecy much more!! At least until the end, because then I have to know who my sending sister was!
Thank you for a great month, and I can't wait to find out who you are!!
Hugs!!!
