Hi Sis, To answer your question.. I haven't been to the beach since April when my neice was here. I used to go with my neighbor, but she moved a few miles from here & we don't go as much as we used to. We still go shopping once in a while. We've had so much rain here that there is alot of seaweed & debris washed up on the beaches now.
Sis, hope you had a good weekend. I got a portion of my van fixed. It needed a new thermostat so it wouldn't overheat (thank goodness!) and I got a fuse replaced for my ciigarette lighter so I can use my cell phone charger. HOWEVER, I need an A/C compressor and a new computer (this is the main part for everything to tell each one what to do and not to do) so my check engine light will go off. This part has to be fixed before it will pass emission (I have until next April). Total cost for parts is approx. $500. I don't know what labor amount is. Personally I don't think the van is worth it. It's 1999 with 145,000 miles. So far I've put way more money in it than it would be worth if I was in an accident (heaven forbid). So I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. I can't afford car payments or another car. Well, somehow I know God will help me get thru this. But it's sure not fun for my nerves. Oh well. Hey Sis, I got my cup of coffee, I'm ready to sit down & gab with you over our coffee. How do you like yours? I like mine with milk & sugar.. that's all...none of that latte or cappachino stuff for me. I want mine to taste like coffee.. not french vanilla or anything like that.
