Sis, thank you for my ecards. I especially liked the 4th of July one. Yesterday I went with my granddaughter & her parents to LaKe Lanier. It's a watrpark and beach all in one so to speak. We had a blast. I went to hopefully get my very white legs tanned. I put suntan lotion (no sunscreen) on all over. Well guess what! Every placed got burned except my legs! LOL They're still real white! I don't why. I laid out with them facing that hot sun (it was between 90 and 100 degrees). Last night at dark they had a gorgeous display of fireworks. My favorites are the ones that go "boom, boom, boom". We got home at midnight. I was exhausted. My granddaughter always spends Sat. nights with me and we got to church together. Her mom has to work on Sundays, and I haven't the foggiest idea what daddy. Anyhow, RyLey (my dgd) was out of it and her mom said to just let her sleep in her clothes. So she did. We overslept a little but still managed to get our shower and get to church on time. At the moment she has finally gone to sleep and that's where I'm headed too. Hope you've had a great weekend! hugs

Thanks, SS, for the 4th of July card! Didn't do alot yesterday.. rained all day and they postponed the fireworks; we were busy anyway getting our 2 teenagers ready to leave today on their mission trip with the youth group. They'll be gone 2 wks... oh, the peace & quiet.. well, at least at night.. I'll have the 4 daycare kids during the day. But DH is on 3-11 so oh, the nights are mine!! LOL
Hope you had a good weekend!

thanks Patti. My computer is really acting sporatically. Amanda is helping me try to fix it, but the computer isn't cooperating. Now it won't do what it's not supposed to be doing so I can give Amanda the answer she needs from me. I'm going nuts!

If it is 11PM here, what time is it there?
With not really knowing where you are I can't really give you an exact hour a I think the Americas times are over 3 zones (i think) but I am presuming it is America so it will be somewhere between 6-9 hours behind us.

What holidays do you celebrate?
The holidays we mainly celebrate are:-
New years eve/day
Valentines day
Mother's day (usually earlier than yourselves)
Easter
Father's day
May Day
August Bank holiday

Do you work outside your home?
I work as a supply Nursery Nurse (outside the house) but also run my handmade card business within the house.

What type of relaxing music do you like?
The music I like to relax to is classical type, I don't really have a favourite as my likes are so wide. I also like the types that have narrated relaxation instructions.
I also enjoy relaxting to Taize music, as I went to Taize with the church when I was younger.

Hope that helps you get to know me a little more

Thank you for the lovely hug
