I also collect angels, and western stuff.
right now just trying to survive in a new house that I moved into in Feb before John went down the path he did in beginning of March.
My things are still boxed up,
I knew the month was early and anything could happen, I hadn't lost hope... but I do appreciate the two ecards tonight.
my weekend plans will be eating with my son on Sat night, then staying the night with dd on Sat night afterwards t then go to church for Mother's day Sunday.. then not sure what.
When I saw the yellow rose I started crying and asked myself "why am I'm crying" then it hit me The yellow roses made me think of Tx rose, and how my dearest John showed me his Tx in 85
It the little things I cry about...thanks for the memories as I did love my ecards and hearing from you.

Hey Sis!
My children are 23 and 19. My dgs is almost 2. He will be 2 on June 29th. DGD is due on June 14th! I also love the smell of vanilla. Awesome! And I like to cook. I bake for a living so don't do much at home.

Sis, I hope you had a wonderful mom's day. I know I did. I didn't have any plans for the weekend. But it was great! My dd & dgd went shopping with me Fri. evening to help me pick out shirts for my mom for mom's day (that's what she wanted, so I'm happy to oblige). Then they spent the night with me and Sat. we went to the beach. I have very fair skin and usually burn but this time I came home still very fair with only a red spot on top of each foot! Can't explain it! Here I was actually wanting a bunch of sun on me and I got nada. But we had fun and played in the sand and waded in the water all day. And my usual weekend itinery of RyLey spending the night Sat and going to church with me today. But the great surprise was when my dd came to get RyLey this evening. In she walked with Jorge (her bf) and they said we were having a cookout here for me. They brought all the food and we grilled and later I cleaned up the mess that didn't get cleaned up LOL! They also brought me a nice gift - one I had mentioned in passing to my dd that I thought I needed ~~~ an edge trimmer/weed eater. I can't wait to use it! I know you think I'm crazy to want this (and I really am!) but I like tools and such. I'm very independent and proud of it. I've had a wonderful weekend and Mom's day and I hope you and all the other secret sisters did too! Hugs!

ss thanks for the mother's day ecard.
Yes it is hard but thank goodness I'm finding some good times.
Sat night went to my son and dil for supper, and then Sunday went to church with dd and then we went to Scarboro Faire with her, her dh, and the grandkids. She paid for it all.
It was fun.
Boy was I tired, so I stayed over at her house last night as I was to tired to drive home.
Then my mother day gift from her was a hoot and I loved it.. I scream with being overjoyed over it.
take care and enjoy your day.

Hi everyone. Sorry I didn't get on yesterday to check the boards. I had a computer problem & had to get it cleared up. Hope all had a wonderful Mother's Day. I had a quiet one, but my kids called me, so it was a happy one for me. They sent me flowers which was a nice surprise.
