We will be finishing the deck with the top rails and the lattice and today we decided to add benches...

Beautiful weather here except for the unexpected rain we had but the sky is blue now...

Hoping to get in some camping this month and a lot of fishing on hubby's time off...

Sounds like you have your work cut out for you on the deck. Good thing is just think of relaxing on it when you are done.

I read somewhere on here that you were making peirogies. Do you make them homemade? Cheddar and Potato sauteed with onions are my favs!! Most people here in NC aren't familiar with them. They don't know what they are missing!


I gotta get my butt off of here and hit the bed.

Glad we'll have a place to chat....I was beginning to feel a little lost without hearing from y'all the last few days.

We've had warm sunny days...and a thunderstormn tonight as cooler air moves in. Aww, we're used to the rain, but it is soo nice to see longer days and warm sun!

We could use a week's worth of rain right now. We are looking at temps in the high 90's this week. UGH!


I am up and at 'em this morning. I'm heading out the door in just a bit to go to Curves. Then, I have to help my DH change the blinds in our bedroom window. Since I was really lazy over the weekend and spent most of the time swimming, I have to go grocery shopping, too.

It has been a while since I have stopped in to say hi.

How are y'all doing?

I am going to be canning my tomatos and making Jellies from strawberries and canning greenbeans when thay get ready and spending time with my family.

peirogies sound so good right now--if I wasn't going to spend the day in town taken my mom to the dr. I might try to make some myself--something that I've been wanting to do-I love peirogies but there's not much of a selection at the stores here.
We had a little over an inch of rain here on Sat/Sun but could use more. It's going to be a hot day-it's 72F right now before 8am, it was 72F last night at 8pm. No air in my van, my parents are going to be hot-I'm used to it. Oh well, need to get off soon and get ready to go. take care all.
