Welcome back to all that joined up again, and Welcome to the 3 new ones.

I survived aother day at work subbing... I sub for a teacher that helped a little boy on a one to one situation.

it looks as tomorrow night I will be taking care of my oldest granddaughter and my gson... the middle granddaughter will be going to the other grandmother.. My first time to watch the grandson over night... but am thrilled I be with my oldest gdaughter.....
we will play beauty palor for sure as she loves to play that, and guess who gets made up?? Yep it me.. LOL....

I also told her that the next time she over, we will go into the web to do a paint picture for kids. As I got this neat web site that the kids can paint pictures, she had so much fun with it.

My gson will keep me on my toes, as he is in that learning and discovering ages. LOL..

bar_bar sounds like your going to have a blast with the gkids you'll have to let her take a picture of you makeover when she's done with you and share it with us have a great time enjoy everyminute

concept of one best friend,
and then I started to become a woman.

going through things with your

Another when you want to shop, share, heal,
hurt, joke, or just be.

One friend will say let's pray together,
another let's cry together,
another let's fight together, another let's
walk away together

One friend will meet your spiritual need,
another your shoe fetish,
another your love for movies, another will
be with you in your season of
confusion, another will be your clarifier,
another the wind beneath your wings.

But what ever their assignment in your life,
on whatever the occasion,
on whatever the day, or where ever you need
them to meet you with their
gym shoes on and hair pulled back or to hold
you back from making a
complete fool of yourself... those are your
best friends.

It may all be wrapped up in one woman, but
for many it's wrapped up in
several... one from 7th grade, one from high
school, several from the
college years, a couple from old jobs,
several from church, on some days
your mother, on others your sisters, and on
some days it's the one that
you needed just for that day or week that
you needed someone with a
fresh perspective, or the one who didn't
know all your baggage, or the
one who would just listen without judging...
those are good girlfriends/best friends.

Men are wonderful, husbands are excellent,
boyfriends are awesome, male
friends are priceless... but if you've ever
had a real good girlfriend,
then you know there's nothing like her!

I thank my girlfriends, those who honor
intimacy, those who hold trust
and those who just got your back when you
feel like life is just too heavy!

I thank you. The special bond we share,
that's unique to us.

The words we've shared. The prayers we've sent up.
The laughs, the tears, the phone calls, the emails, the shopping,
the movies, the lunches, the dinners, the late night talks, afternoon talks, the weekend talks, shop talk, all the talking, talking, talking
and the listening, listening, listening....

So whether you've been there 20 minutes or 20 years, I love ya!

Bar_bar that sounds like so much fun. I know you are enjoying yourself. Yes, a picture would be fun. I too would love to see that and I am sure she would love taking it.
Julie thank you for sharing the poem, it was beautiful and so true.
How is everyone coming along with all their Christmas decorating? We are plugging right along. My DD is really enjoying it.

yes we had fun, but I didn't see you asking about pictures, and it wouldn't of done no good, I don't know how to get my pictures from digitex camera on computer..

Have asked for a scanner for christmas, so maybe santa's helper be nice to me and bring me one. (smile and wink)

She was more into coloring on the computer.. I believe it was Barbz that told of a size long ago about Mylittlepony.com and we found another one with crayons that she was able to color christmas stuff in.
it was called I believe coloring.com.... as she been learning to use computers at school.

She wanted alot of sitting in Nana's lap as well...

She drank her coffee milk with me this morning.. As her parents doesn't like coffee but she thinks she so big to drink coffee milk with Nana... A tiny bit of coffee in her cup with mostly milk...
Then my grandson at 2 wanted coffee but no milk, I told him NO so he wanted water in it.. so I water it down BIG Time, he didn't like itl. LOL

so it my gd that likes coffee milk with the #1 likeing it the best and that is the one that spend the night with me.

She loved looking at the famly Corner photo album... with the snow...and other scenic pictures and the funny ones..

We had alot of fun...
She didn't want to go to bed last night due to her having fun.

of course we did play hair salon, as she loves standing in my chair and doing my hair. FUNNY....
once she put in enought hair clips that I like like a hair clap tree.

This was my first time to watch the gson but he did fairly well, but boy he did test me and John to see how far he could go. and found out he got his little fat part of the legs spanked.. When he started to throw his temperatum due to not having his way.

today he was just fine... no problems...
