Thanks all for your support.. And yes, Julia is relieved to know that we weren't singled out in any biased way, And I am relieved by this also, as it is happening in communities all around us.

As it turns out the suspect ( 25 yrs old) who was the driver, has now retained a lawer, and is discussing the possibility of financial restitution with the more than one dozen families whose homes he vandalized. My car was also somewhat damaged ( scratches to the paint when he threw the tree ), and my husband injured his foot while chasing these guys - (even though off-duty at the time, it's still an injury suffered by a police officer associated with the commission of a crime) ..H's going to looses a few days of work, but no bones are broken.. just a badly bruised foot.

All in all.. Very bad judgement on the part of some very immature males.

We however hope they will learn a different definition of "fun on a Saturfay night" .. and not make the same mistakes again.

Val, I am glad they are going to do something about the situation and that your daughter is not taking this personally. I am sorry your husband was hurt in the whole mess but not any worse than he was. Thank you for letting us know how things are going for you with this situation. I was telling my DH about it and he was wondering how things were going for you too.

OK Secret Sisters! Anyone ever encounter this one! Your emails are received, but none of your e-cards are? It really upsets me!

My Secret Sis hasn't rec'd any of my ecards, bbut she gets my emails!

Any hints here?

No have no idea what could be happening to you ecards. But sure hope it all straigtens out for the two of you.

Lauri, I can't figure out what might be happening but here's a workaround for you.
Send the ecard to YOURSELF. Then forward the message about it to your SS. Delete those pesky headers that might tell your name.
Hope this helps. I'm guessing you never had that problem before?
Maybe talk to ajrsmom or bar_bar and they can send a message to your SS and get it figured out.
Here's a thought....your SS's internet provider may be blocking those ecard messages thinking they're spam. Some spam blockers are a little...shall we say...overenthusiastic! Anyway, the workaround I gave you will eliminate that problem. Good luck!

Yes, I've had that card problem happen to me too. In fact, I just sent a card to someone that was never received.

I have no idea why they dont go through. My guess would be either its the site--in my case I had never used that one before--or possibly my firewall on my computer blocked it....but I would think that I would get a message from my firewall saying so.

are you trying other sites? if not try them and see if ss receives..

if it is one site that doing this, could you let us know which site and maybe others will know if that site has worked for them or not.. Maybe this is a site we all need to stir away from.

At least she is getting your emails... that is good.... if you two need to talk to Tami or myself off screen please pm us about the situation... thanks.

Also ladies Keep a eye on the spam folder as many times things are put into the spam folder and if you do not look there and just delete you could be deleting your ecard from your ss.

Val, thanks for letting us know the outcome on this scooge, and hopefully he has learned a lesson of never do again..Sorry your dh and your car got some damage... Hopefully this guy has to make up for your dh lost time at work.

I don't know if your SS has aol or not but i have had problems with aol bouncing messages from non aol addresses. They don't put them in spam they just bounce them and they never get delivered. I've had this happen when I send to myself from my non aol addy to my aol addy as well as having the same problem with previous SS's sending to me @aol.

Julie, maybe that's why the ecard I sent you Fri came back to me undeliverable??????? I'll try it again!! I've have problems like that before.. sending ecards to my SS and they not being received! Gotta love computers!!
