also ty for being there if I need a shoulder to lean on, I think it's going to be a long summer.......with the cancer and surgery and then chemo and radiation ughhhhh I am not looking forward to seeing my hubby goe thru all this.

Hi! My name is Diana.We live in Pfafftown,NC. I am a SAHM of 6....3 are still at home.Gracie(11)Andrew(7)and Kaitlyn(2 on June 27th)..we just moved to this trailer,from a large farmhouse.My husband got downsized,and we lost everything,but we're still together right<''> ..he took a loss in pay as opposed to being unemployed.I am trying to be brave,but I am lonely,and feel lost.I was in a car wreck the week of the move,(a guy hit me at a red light)and on top of it all my car was totaled.I have depression,but am on meds,and they usually work,but right now I feel so lost,my hubby and I have been married 7 years,he leaves at 7 in the a.m. and doesn't get home until 11 or later most nights. He works all day,and the goes to our old house where our van is broke down,and tries to get the transmission working so he can bring it home.He takes my replacement car to work,so we're stuck all day.My kids get so bored.I love crafts,love painting,drawing,interior design,redecorating.I can reupholster,paint,wall paper,stain..and redo about anything.My neighbors here are a little stand offish.I don't drink,or do drugs,so I don't seem to fit in.I could really use a sister,a guardian angel actually, rightnow.My mom and dad,and brothers are deceased,so I feel kinda all alone.I guess I am really looking for a friend to give me strength to go on.I am so down,and tired.

Momofsix, I wish that I could reach out and give you a big hug right now! You have come to the right place for some support, to make a lot of new friends and to just have a place to relax and enjoy for a while!!!
Please, Dont stop there though. We have so many other topics for you to look into too. You have a wonderful talent to be able to paint. We have a whole Crafts forum where you can share you stories. We also have forum dealing with kids and family.
Look under the Leisure Time forum for ideas dealing with kids' boredom. You can even post something just to vent if you want to. Believe me, I know that we ALL need to do that sometimes.
My son is 6 1/2 (they share the same name) and my DD just turned 1 so we have somthing in common there too. Im trying to beat the summer boredom already too.
My husband works night so I know what its like to be a lone a lot too.

There are a lot of people here that can relate to your situation. Talk with us about it. It really can help.

it seems as if the Secret Sisters will be a wonderful thing for you, keep in mind that you do need to have 25 post,but you get tht before long, just jump in where you feel comfortable at, and start talking... Everyone is wonderful..
