2009 Ornament Exchange
Welcome to the 2009 FamilyCorner Christmas Ornament Exchange!
Our hosts for this exchange will be Minny & Seleach !!
The sign -ups to participate in this exchange will begin today. The deadline to sign up is October 17.
Please make sure that your ornaments are mailed out by November 26.
** This is before the Christmas Postal rush and it gives everyone enough time to receive the
ornaments and put them on the tree for this year.**

This exchange is run on the honor system. By joining this exchange, you are giving your word
that you will follow through with any exchanges that you make.
The rules for joining this club are simple:
You must have 75 posts to join.
Those who are interested can post here on this thread. When you see someone you want to
exchange with, PM them and exchange addresses and information on how you want to swap.
Please do not post any information concerning any exchanging in this thread - it will be removed.
The particulars of the exchange will be between those involved. Whether you exchange homemade
or store bought items, one or five ornaments, or spend a little or a lot per ornament, it will all be
decided by those doing the swapping.
Like last year, we will set up a "sent and received" thread. We ask that you post when you send out
ornaments and when you receive anything.
We do allow "thank yous" but please do not mention any names when posting on that thread - we
encourage personal thank yous by email or private message.
You should also send a private message to Minny & Seleach to give them a list of names you are
exchanging with. Then private message both of them once again when you receive an ornament -
this is so they can keep track of all of the comings and goings between everyone. It will also help
them out if any problems arise.
For example.....
If I talk to 4 people and we decide to exchange ornaments, I will PM the following:
Tami - ajrsmom
exchanging with
Bobbi
Sue
Peggy
Betty
---then I will send a PM like this when I receive an ornament:
Tami - ajrsmom
Today I received ornaments from Sue and Peggy.
