Update on my son.
The tumor was bigger than they thought it was. However the surgeon assured Kim they got it all. She didn't say anything about the lymph nodes in his neck so waiting to hear more about that. They took tissue from his theigh to reconstruct a tongue,
Have no idea how they do that but very glad they could do it for him. It can't always be done. Kim said he was in pretty good spirits considering all he had been through.
She will be seeing him this eveninig and hopes to know more then.
Thank you all so much for prayers. Keep praying please. There is a long ways to go.

Glad your son came thro' surgery and they were able to reconstruct a tongue for him. I was wondering about that. Hope he is able to talk and eat okay. Jodi how is your FIL doing now?
