I'm praying that 2009 brings a break in the bad luck we're having with our vehicles. My dad's truck needs an engine(my dh usually drives it for work), my sil's truck won't run-don't know exactly the reason-he's made many repairs; my dd's car broke a connection between the tie rods-needs a ball bearing replaced. My van is the only vehicle running-to get me and dh back and forth to work, get my dd and gk's to church, and get sil to job interviews (although if he gets a job he has no transportation). Looks like we might get the car fixed after I get paid next weekend and we have to check with my friend's mechanic about a vehicle he wants to sell.
Took Mom for a bronchscophy (SP?) this morning-her lungs looked good-need prayer that the cell samples don't show any cancer in them. She's still trying to get rid of the last of her pneumonia also-hurting on the side of her left lung.
Prayer for John Travolta's family after losing their 16yr son today(??)
Prayer for my cousin Jimmy and his friend Jim, both with their own medical problems.
Prayer that my sil is able to get a job soon-he's been out of work 6 months already.
and Prayer that my landlord does not raise our rent (property taxes may be going up in our area)
take care all, Pam
