Donna-Marie, I was there once, when I chaperoned an 8th-grade trip, back in my teaching days when I was young and stupid enough to chaperone a "stay overnight in a hotel with 100 8th-graders" trip.... Big DS's Boy Scout troop went to DC earlier this year and they got me some postcards.
Hi, Debbie!
Glad you got them... Postage was based on the USPS web page... I figured more was safer then not. :} No Prob. I can understand bad weather mailing conditions, the Snoqualmie Pass (I90) one of our widely used freeways has been shut down since last tuesday (if not before) due to the large amount of snow fall and Avalanche conditions (I'm on the sound side). Basically, most of Washington state resdience that travel via the Cascade mountains are up a deep creek with out paddles (and I feel very bad for them, even though I still want the snow- it just has to stick here and not there).
Besides it gives me something to look "for"ward to. :}
I'm so glad you were able to recieve them. I sort of figured the 2nd one would be less exciting as the lighthouse one....but wanted to send you some warmth. :}
Debbie, I think your PC for me is still in transit... WA has been hit with deep snow in the Cascades, and unfortunately I have no idea which route the USPS uses to get our mail here. But will let you know for sure when I recieve it.

Hi, D-M!
I got the two PC's today, and I love being on the PC exchange here in FC.
The ship was a welcome surprise as I didnt now the navy ships were ported in Maine. I enjoy the map of Maine with all the "state" info on it as well. TY
