Lightbulb How the Individual Postcard Swaps Work

This is to answer the question from all our members who are interested in swapping:

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR THE SWAP?

Swapping is easy.

You can send a PM to anyone who has posted on the Postcard Swap Thread and ask if they are interested in doing a swap with you.

You need to include the following information:
Your name & address
Whether you want your card to be written on & postmarked, or mailed "blank" inside a regular envelope
What kind of cards you HAVE to swap
What kind of cards you WANT to receive

(EXAMPLE:
Hi! Would you like to swap postcards with me?
My address:
Polly Postcard Swapper
123 Main Street
Any Town, Any State 00000 USA
I like my postcards to be written on & postmarked.
I have cards from my state; I like scenic cards or cards with lighthouses).

Of course, you can always tell your swap partner that you'd welcome any kind of card. I'm famous for saying "surprise me" and I'm never disappointed

Happy Swapping!

Does this mean there are no minimum # of posts required to join the postcard swap club?

Dakaremom, to join the swap, just post in the thread above. PM anyone who posts in that thread, and ask if they'd like to do an exchange.
