well I don't want to disappoint a child, making them wait either...which makes me wonder, if I do this with the school kids or with my own gkids, who ever has them, may have to wait for a spell..

do you want ecards to go to them as well, or will we do this on the board, on thru a email via email?
as I'm feeling we would do this email vs email?

Barbz, I told Chynna that she got a pc and she informed me to get one in the mail for him. then she wanted to know if we got new names. LOL, I informed her about the situation and what I had said and you were a cyperfriend and your little boy send it.

so she has told me what kind to find, so I'm will have one soon in the mail for you as soon as I can find that kind, if not I will have to see what else she would want me to send. but should be able to find it. LOL

she was so excited about getting anothe pc... of course she knows how much her Nana loves to be on FC... and my bumper sticker.. is from fc...

.
Barb, Im not quite sure what you mean ......

All that is required is 2 postcards a month--which you can send via your name and address at home with the childs name or nickname on it.

And 4 emails--one a week if you want---in any way, in the form of a short email letter, or ecards or pictures.....whatever. They can be sent via your email addy too if you would like. When my son gets an email from one of his friends in Pa., they address it like this to my email address---Hi Andy from John or he will address his-- From Andy in NC to John. That way the parents will realize who it is from if they dont know the email address.

All we ask is that you post a thank you to the kids who send the cards. Simply post something like " Andy would like to thank John for the postcard and the pictures". Or if the child is old enough, they can write under your name too.

Im sorry if Im making this really hard to understand.

Hi Jofrance72 and welcome to Family Corner.

The postcard swapping for children is taking names for a swap to start up soon. However for the protection of our children a member must have at least 75 posts before they are permitted to join. It does not take long at all to acrue 75 posts.

The mailing requirements will be little different when we start up again. The children will exchange two postcards and at least 4 emails every month. More details of the rules can be found at http://www.familycorner.com/forums/s...d.php3?t=12023

If you have any questions please ask either on this thread or by pm.
