Pet stores around America, sometimes in malls, have cute adorable little puppies for sale. They lure you in, with the cute little ears and nose.

Puppies in pet stores come from Puppy Mills - these are America's dirty little secret. Puppy Millers, as they are known, mass produce and market puppies like a 6-pack of soda pop. Puppies and their moms live in horrible horrible conditions, little or no human contact, little or no vet care. Some are even abused.
There are no laws on Puppy Mills. So the only way to stop these evil millers is to NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCT. If their product isn't in demand then they won't supply.
Each time you buy a puppy from a pet store, one more will take it's place and thus repeating the cycle and lining the miller's pockets.
It's hard, but walk past them, don't let more be born.
