We are going to have a BD party for my son sometime at the end of next month. His birthday is on the 27th but since it is so close to Trick or Treat night, we usually have it the weekend before.
Since this will be his first real BD party with kids other than family, should we only invite boys at this age? I was thinking that MAYBE I would invite the 4 boys that he has become friends with to a pizza party and then for a sleep over.
I asked him and he was happy about it although there is one little girl that he really wants to invite.
He tells me that this girl is really nice and really beautiful!! ;-) Ive told him that if he invites one girl, then he would have to invite a coulple more so that she wouldnt be the only girl---but that means a bigger party with no sleepover and Im not sure that I should start with the girls just yet anyway.
That aside, What are some cool gifts going into goody bags these days? I dont want to break the bank but would like to be up to date anyway, LOL! Geez, I feel so out of the loop and so old!!!
Ok, On to ideas for his party....... He hasnt decided on a theme yet, either Nascar, the zoo or Halloween. Do they still play games at parties today? Is that all necesarry with a sleepover?
Help!!! I need some ideas from someone who has been there, done that!
