Hi Mego! Getting your navel pierced is awesome but as for anyone being able to tell you if it will hurt, there is no way for anyone of us to know your level for pain. It hurt just a tiny bit for me but for my daughter she thought it hurt bad and wanted to throw up. She has no pain threshhold. If your pain level isnt too high it will feel like a little pinch. Make sure you get stainless steel in there because if you have sensitive skin, like I do, it will stay infected for a long time from the irritation of the metal. I had my lower back tatoo'd a few months ago. I got 7 butterflys across my lower back, one for each child of mine. It took almost 3 hours to do and it was the worse pain I have ever felt [besides giving birth that is]. It was much worse than a piercing. A piercing is quick. I am sure you will do fine, just expect some pain and you will be fine. Make sure you wash it with antibacterial soap everyday. Every place tells you how to take care of your piercings, and believe it or not they all tell you different things. Even for tatoo's! But I have found that just using antibacterial soap does the best job in keeping it clean and infection free.
