What a perfect idea!! If I did that, I'd have to use silk plants as I can't keep indoor plants....they seem to die under my TLC !!

Abear.. We took a piece of ply wood and cut it to fit....then I stapled some material onto the ply wood.... and used silk flowers and some ivy plants... it looked very very nice!!...and if someone had an insane moment and wanted to take a bath it was easy to remove.

The nice thing is it kept the tub clean......it was a pain to clean because I am short and couldn't reach to clean the opposite end....the cover was the best solution.

That is the same reason DH has to clean his own bath tub!

I will clean the rest of his bathroom but he must clean his own tub.

This is so funny!
When we were house hunting for the move before this one..the real estate agent kept showing us houses with big jetted tubs and I kept telling her that I would just fill it full of dirt and plants, most likely a few ficus trees, and that we would never use it.
Well, the house we ended up buying had a beautiful corner jetted tub and she tried her best to find us a ficus tree to plant in it! She never found one (even later when I tried to buy one there in UT I couldn't find one either) but anyway.....
we ended up using the jetted tub on cold wintery days or when we might feel achy ... and decided that we really liked it.
When we move here it was one of the things we were looking for!
If it were a regular tub, it would never get used..

So do we have any bath/shower people around or shall we remain smelly and close this thread?

I'm still a bath- taker, don't think I'll ever change, until I'm too old and decrepit to get up out of the tub.... although I do like getting wet in a lovely Spring/Summer rain shower!

I'm staying smelly! LOL

We don't have any tubs in our house, so it's all showers all the time.

GWTW, welcome back! We haven't seen you for a while. I hope you had a great birthday last week and that you enjoy your visit here again.
I am a shower person. I love the bath, but I shower every morning as part of my wake up routine.
