Lightbulb Make up tip

Here is a make up tip to make your foundation look natural, even and smooth.

Add one drop of olive oil (only one drop)
Use a make up wedge (white sponge)
Put the one drop of olive oil each time you go back into your foundation, this should be less times than before because the oil helps spread more evenly and is good for your skin. Remember to bring your foundation down to your neck and toward your ears.

Prepare for a healthy natural even looking color. Perfect every time.
Remember less is more.

When I was a young lady in California I went to a school to learn make up techniques for television. This was one of them. Hope you enjoy it.

Great tip, Craftchick. I've used the sponge with water but hadn't heard of using the oil.

Thumbs up

Craftchick, I know this is an old post, but just read for the first time . This sounds like a good idea. I am wondering though if it works with mineral makeup in a compact. That is what I use but sometimes it gets a little dry on my face after a few hours. I think I will try tomorrow and see. Thanks, Faye

I have used it with my mineral powder for the same dry reason, just keep it to a minimum it goes a long way. Thanks for your response.

I'm anxious to try this. I am soon to be 62 yrs. old, but I still like for my make-up to look good. I also told my daughter tonight about this little trick, think she is going to use it too. Will let you know how we come out. Faye
