Tasha--I can see the difference and I've only been doing it for a few weeks(20 a day). It's great for the muscle tone, but I still have a lot of fat to get rid of before my pooch will be allowed out in public!! Though I can now see where my waist goes in instead of being larger than my hips!
Mrs maniac, I will have to try the Penguin exercise...sounds like a winner..
Also when you are on the computer...suck your gut in and hold for a count of 10-15....then release...it is an exercise to strengthen your gut muscles too.
It goes on the same theory of doing kegel exercises for our private area.
I did the Penguin exercise and I've been sucking my gut in while I'm on the and I can feel it.. Just alittle sore. But hey you got to feel it to loose it I guess. Thanks guys!!!!
Maybe you could try doing them before even getting out of bed? That's what I do on the weekends, when dh is determined to not let me get a workout in!!
I do suck in my gut when I sit , though I can't say I've seen a difference. But every little bit helps, so I keep on doing it lol!! I do the same thing for my backside, too, but I've seen the difference there!!
Of course, my biggest problem is too much and not enough I workout every day, but I need to step it up and stop eating so much!!
Mrs maniac, I think on the "sucking the gut in thing", imagine a string, going thru to your back and hold it tight for a count of 10-15 or more if you can.
It strengthens the muscles and it also allows your rib cage to come to attention, instead of being so relaxed...so it helps with posture too...so if we correct our posture we look much better too..check yourself out in a store window some time...and you can train yourself to carry yourself different.
