I'm currently using Excel for my address book, birthdays, and notes about whom I've written or sent a family newsletter to.

My husband bought me a PDA, but I've lost my addresses twice when the batter died (I didn't link it to my computer in time.) I haven't been encouraged to re-type it all in. One day I will!

I also use a Home Management Notebook to maintain my daily "to do" lists, etc. for when I'm not at my computer and I need to make notes, etc.

Similar to a PDA ...

I have an electronic Rolodex, which is like the grandfather of the PDAs. I know what you mean about losing info when the battery dies! It has a battery back-up, but if that's dead, it's of no use! I think I need to set an alarm for changing the back-up battery.

I used to use an address book/day planner thing... But, my boss bought me a Palm Pilot, so now I use that....
