Menu/Grocery Planner by one of our members!

ewriggs posted the following in the What's For Dinner thread:

The Menu Planner is posted on FC at:
http://www.familycorner.com/forums/planner.doc

I hope it is helpful to people!

You can download it and pull it up in Word or WordPad (or nearly any other wordprocessor that will deal with "doc" files). You can emend it to "fit" your needs as much as you need to!

Enjoy!

Cheerio!

Here is tip I do for the office...on our roledex...I glue a plastic bread closure on the cards I use most often...

So I can get to that info quick..

I love those little plastic squares...they are also good for scraping off those sticky gum labels too...saves my fingernails..lol

Love Janet.

Kitchen Organizations

Attach the lids of attractive jars to the underside of cabinets with small screws. Use the jars to store things like beans, raisins, nuts and popcorn by simply screwing the jar onto the stationary lid.

Keep seasoning packets organized by storing them in empty tissue boxes__ Just cut out the front and top.

Cut a hole in the side of plastic milk jugs to make a perfect container for storing plastic grocery bags.

Keep aluminum foil and plastic-wrap boxes organized by putting them on pants hangers . Most of the boxes already have a hole on the side through which it can be threaded onto the bar of the hanger.

Organize the junk drawer by storing like objects together in cleaned freezer-food trays, butter tubs and aerosol lids.

More Tips

If you collect gifts, remember to give them. Purge your gift box every three months and unload the items you haven't been able to give away.

Stuffed animals from childhood take up space and can be dirty. If you're just hanging onto them for sentimental reasons, give them to charity so that a new generation of children can enjoy them.

If you have a lot of family photographs, get rid of the negatives
and just keep the photos you intend to use.

Scrapbooking is a rewarding hobby, but it can take up a lot of space. Be sure to organize your scrapbooking supplies in an area where they can be easily used. Excess supplies should be tossed or given away.

The fabric from a sentimental item like your grandmother's old handbag can find new life as a scrapbook cover. Don't just save sentimental items, repurpose them so you can enjoy them all the time.
