Patti, sometimes I run across an old address book of mine and find names in it of relatives or friends who are no longer with us. It brings back memories.

Same here Sammi especially as I have my Mom's too kind of sad but then I think of all the good times with "whoever" and then I start smiling.

I use planners, at times it a small journal as well. I have kept old calender and old planners to look over, but right now they are all seem to have disappear or packed away.. hope to find them.. It brings back memories.... and help jog the ole mind of mine to reflect back on things.... I hate it when I don't write down things thinking I will later then I don't.
When John was alive we used a calender to write down things.

I have a planner for my business. Keeps track of my appointments, makes my life easier. Since I already had it no money was spent!

I use a week at a glance calendar that gives me about 2x4 for each day and a space for notes. Anything smaller and I don't have enough room to track family activities plus work. I need to check around the dollar stores to see who has one the size I want and isn't charging a leg for it, Staples charges an arm & leg for them.

I do keep a family calendar in the kitchen for DH to mark things down on as he tends to forget to tell me things.

I also use cozi.com. I can add and track and print out the calendar.

I use an out dated planner w/new pages; PC calendar, wall calendar, and "reminder" calls when ever possible. Plus I keep e-mails until I either attend appointment or a year after function.

I just got a new planner, called "BusyBodyBook." It's pretty good. It has 5 columns each week plus a "to do" and scratch-note page per week. My columns are labeled Mom, Family, Home, Work and Dinner. I like having everything all in one place. The planner I used before had a separate meal planning section, but it's easier when I can see all the appointments when I make the meal plan.
