Have a photo board set up with pics on it. At the top of one write SONNY, post a pic of your dad's parents, then a photo of yopur dad as a baby, then one every couple of years. Do one like this for your mom.
After so mnay photos, add a pic of them at Prom, or on a date, then a wedding photo. For each section-like childhood add a photo of dad with best friend, have the best friend there as a surprise, he or she could tell of something they did together like soaping windows, etc. Then the friend comes out of hiding. Thena favorite school teacher, if still living, the teacher, say a history teacher, could ask Sonny a history question.
Then for their wedding, have the wedding party their, dressed in the colors from the wedding.
You can really come up with some good ideas here. Photos of favorite pets are good to use also.

My grandparents had their 50th a few years ago. I took some plain unlined index cards, used some gold 50th anniversary stickers to decorate the corners and then asked all the guests to write a favorite memory on the cards. I then put the cards into one of those photo albums that has a sleeve for each picture. I used some pretty gold fabric and some trinkets from the scrapbook section of the craft store to cover and decorate the outside of the album. We gave them the album later on in the party when they were opening gifts. We had managed to sneak the cards around so well to the guests that they had no idea what we had done!
My Mom and my Aunt did a photo board standing on a table with some mementos from their wedding and early years and a small t.v. playing old home movies.
This time, the theme is going to be autumn/Halloween so your stories need to use smilies to express as many words as possible and your story should be focused on anything that has to do with autumn or Halloween.
Members will be allowed to submit one story pertaining to a Halloween story and one story pertaining to an autumn story. Please click here to enter!
