I am trying to go into 2008 with my eyes wide open. I'm not going to make resolutions that I really have no intentions of following through on.
The ones that I have made:
1. Go back to low carbing and working out at Curves at least MWF. I have a long way to go to reach my final goal weight but I am determined to do it. Hopefully by this time next year, I will have reached my goal!
2. I need to get our spending under control and try to set up a savings account.
3. I am going to try to aquire more computer work so that I can remain working from home.
4. I have to find a way to reduce the stress that we are all under in this house. It's driving me nuts.

If I remember I make at least one resolution. Sometimes I just don't remember to make any. I haven't ever stuck with a resolution but it's a helpful reminder of some of the things I want to accomplish. My new resolutions will be:
1. For my family & me to become healthier which will include eating healthier foods & getting more exercise.
2. To attend Church more often.
3. To declutter, get organized and to keep my house clean...Flylady here I come...again!
Wish me luck!

No resolutions for me, just trying to take one day at a time. But I do hope and pray that all of you are successful at the resolutions and plans you make.

This year I'm doing something different--each family member is going to write a list with a least 5 things that they would like to accomplish or do to help in a positive way with them, our family or in our community in the coming year.
I've always written a list in the past but I've never really stuck to it. This year I want to try to bring us together as a family.

Tami, that sounds like a cool idea. My cousin was talking last night about her "30 by 30" list and I was thinking about doing that...of course I am way over 30 so the list would have to be longer. I like your 5 things or maybe even 9 since it will be 2009!
This time, the theme is going to be autumn/Halloween so your stories need to use smilies to express as many words as possible and your story should be focused on anything that has to do with autumn or Halloween.
Members will be allowed to submit one story pertaining to a Halloween story and one story pertaining to an autumn story. Please click here to enter!
