Songs that make you cry

Do any of you have a song you can hear on the radio that just makes you cry every time? I have several and the ones that make me cry are, Garth Brook's "The Dance," Martina McBride's "Concrete Angels" and Bonnie Raitt's, "I can't make you love me."

Have any of you heard the one by Newsong called "The Christmas Shoes?" It's hard not to get teary eyed listening to that one!!

hugs,train

There are several but I can never hear "Don't Fence Me In" with out crying and more so right now. As it came out when my brother Butch was very ill we did not know if he was going to live or not. He had Diptheria AND Polio and we did not know if he would ever walk again if he pulled out of it. Which of course he did and he even ended up flying airplanes and was a great military man. I lost him Nov 23th. He knew every word to that song.

Love Song by Third Day (A great band!)

I've heard it said that a man would climb a mountain
Just to be with the one he loves
How many times has he broken that promise
It has never been done
I've never climbed the highest mountain,
But I walked the hill of Calvary

Just to be with you I'd do anything
There's no price I would not pay
Just to be with you I'd give anything
I would give my life away

I've heard it said that a man would swim the ocean
Just to be with the one he loves.
How many times has he broken that promise?
It can never be done.
I've never swam the deepest ocean
But I walked upon the raging sea.

Just to be with you I'd do anything
There's no price I would not pay
Just to be with you I'd give anything
I would give my life away

I know that you don't understand the fullness of my love,
How I died upon the cross for your sins
And I know that you don't realize how much I give you
But I promise I would do it all again.

Just to be with you I'd do anything
There's no price I would not pay
Just to be with you I'd give anything
Yes, I gave my life away

Songs that make you cry

I can't remember the name, but it's a country song that talks about an abused child whose parents are drugies & how she witnessed her father kill her mother & then himself while Jesus comforted & protected her.

I agree that several of the country songs can make you cry.
