CULVER CITY, CALIF. (May 5, 2008) – Serenity Fall’s favorite pre-teen sleuth is back on the case when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment debuts Roxy Hunter and the Secret of the Shaman on DVD July 15, 2008. Rising tween star Aria Wallace (The Perfect Man, Roxy Hunter and the Mystery of the Moody Ghost) returns in the role she made famous with Demetrius Joyette (The Pacifier) also returning as her boy genius best friend, as the dynamic duo team up again to save their hometown’s 150th birthday celebration.
The DVD is packed with special features, including a blooper reel and two all-new music videos featuring Aria Wallace. The disc also contains two featurettes, the ‘making of” documentary Creating the Secret of the Shaman and On the Set with Aria Wallace, in which a camera follows Aria Wallace around to see what it’s like for her to live as a working child actress. Roxy Hunter and the Secret of the Shaman, which originally aired on Nickelodeon, will be available for $19.95 SLP.
SYNOPSIS:
As Serenity Falls prepares for its 150th birthday celebration, everyone is alarmed when a priceless crystal turns up missing. The only suspect seems to be a strange man living in the woods known as the Shaman. It's up to Roxy Hunter (Wallace) and her best friend Max (Joyette), to discover the identity of the true thief and recover the precious jewel. Could it be the Shaman? Or, is it the person no one would ever suspect...
