SS Memory Lane.

It so hard to believe that we have been doing SS for a entire year now.
Boy time flies when we are having a good time.

Since we have been doing this for a entire year. Tami and I've been talking about getting this thread going, for you to recall some of your memories of your past SS..
it could be a story, an experiece you had during your time as a ss, it might be something that happen that was funny, a situtation...
It might be a suggestion that will help others that you learned along the trail of a ss

so put your thinking caps on, and think back on something and tell us about it.

As we all love a good story....

lets celebrate that SS been around for a yr.

and we can do that by telling stories, or a tip or whatever.

Looking forward to seeing what you got to say.

I really don't have a story to tell but I just want to say that this past year has really been GREAT!

I have made some new friends. I often ask them for advice on things that I wouldn't dare ask any of my "biological" sisters. They are blabbermouths. So it is so nice to have an ear (and open mind) to talk to.

I hope this club can continue for at least another year.

Amen to what Coll said. This has been great fun. I know that I have to remember not to put my name on the ecards or send them under the wrong email addy. I have gotten same great gifts and have made some wonderful, loving and very caring friends. I too hope that this club continues.

I don't really have a story either. But I have totally enjoyed being connected with the SS club. I have heard back from my past sending SS's with the exception of a couple, never heard anything from one but the rest have been great ladies and I can not say enough about my receiving ladies they all are priceless. They have all been there for me too when I have had sadness befall me. And with worrying about getting home to NJ for my class reunion next month. So far so good just praying nothing comes up to keep me from going.

This been the best expierence for me. I have met many new people and had a wonderful time. I know at times i havnt been the best secret sister with all that is going on. But getting to kow you has been great!! Thanks so much for being there..hugs kim

I don't have a story, but I have made so many friends with Secret Sisters. It is great. I don't have a sister, and this makes it even more special. I hope Secret Sister never ends.

some funny things that has happen to me
once I gave a out a sending ss name out twice

, that was fun,. I didn't recognize it until someone else asked me a question, after seaching for the answer I realize I gave out that lady name out twice...

I do believe she was spoiled by both.

I had another ss that I didn't received nothing from, we talked and became friends from it.
so even if it not been a good month, don't throw away the chance to making friends anyways as it could of been a bad month for her. it was for this person...

I think the most ss we have had been around.

lets me think what else I can recall..

ooo, several sisters been with us, went away and came back
and some has been with us from day 1.

for those that has given out your real name, don't feel bad, it has happen more than you know. and they are with me and maybe Tami, not sure there. asking "what do I do now" well if you were one of them, you know what I told you.... LOL
use your imagination, don't panic,

I like to bring up a name that most of you will remember, that is our Sweet Breezy
I would like to just put her on the honor list of SS.. for you new ones she has gone on to met her maker.. but a very sweet and dear lady that I became friends with due to the fact that she was one that gave out her real name in ss.. I helped her with that situation and we became friends.

ooo, to me there is so many memories.. that will stick with me forever, and I thank each one of you ladies for taking the time out with your busy schedules and becoming a ss to someone that brought a smile

to their faces, a warm fuzzy inside...

I just wanted to add my thoughts in here too!
I havent had many SS to share my stories about..i have only been on the SS list for a few months and had to drop out-due to financial difficulties and buying a house!! Which Is a good thing but yet a bad thing now that I cant be in the SS.
I cant wait to come back to it!!

I miss seeing my little Icon at the bottom

I have had a great experience with the club!! I LOVED IT!!
I THANK You all for the time I did have in the club!!

I have became friends with all my SS's and THANK GOD for my last one--I love ya and you know who you are!! You helped me more than you know and I hope your always there!!

THANK YOU for all the memories so far and I hope you all have a wonderful time in the club!!

Just to echo most everyone else's comments.....I think this club is a wonderful idea. I love knowing that someone I never met is out there thinking of me and caring about things that are foing on in my life. I have had the best sisters who have all spoiled me in different ways and always brought a smile to my face. I gained lots of friendships through this and also an adoptive mom. I care about each and everyone of you who I either had as a secret sister or who had me as a secret sister. You are all amazing women!!!! This past month I was unable to stay in the club due to my holidays and being away from home....I really miss it and can hardly wait to be back in Septemmber.

I have sent my name on e-mails, and a package has arrived to early and with me being from Canada it is not hard to tell who I am!!! I had a hard time with the borders being closed to all food product and a few other items for awhile so it was hard to send my sisters a taste of Canada. Thank goodness that is over!!!!

Look forward to this club being active for a very long time.......thank you Tami and Barb for all the time you put into this to give so many others countless pleasures!

Well, I feel the need to add my two cents worth... This is one of the best things that anyone here could be a part of. I had to pull out myself for a couple of months... but guess what? I still had "Sisters" out there for me who listened to my problems and cheered me up the best they knew how under the circumstances. I never missed out in the club so to say... I can look back now and count my blessings. I really appreciate everything you all did for me- and I about went crazy the 2 months that I sat it out, LOL! (you know the symptoms of withdrawal kicked in big time!). I am back into the swing of things once again- and hope I am here to stay!! Bring on September !
