Preparing master mixes is not something I have ever done but I would like to give it a try. Does making these really help to save money?
Which ones did you start with? What are your favorites?
I was looking on the melborponsti sight and there were tons of mixes!!!!
I love the mixes, yr before last that was what I gave as Christmas gifts to the kids that was married, to save them time in the kitchen.. they all loved it. For my son that was single I made up a jar of coco mix that he could use without saying "MOM, pleae fix me some coco" LOL
I also made some up for friends...
I also had some left over and I'm used them to sit on my shelf to look pretty.
so I'm thankful I got another site to go to...

Thanks for these mixes, I have decided to make a gift basket with different mixes for everyone this year instead of trying to guess what everyone would like
I see baskets of mixes as gifts for Christmas this year to use up all these canning jars I inherit from friends. LOL! I did a breakfast basket last year -- pancake mix, flavored syrup & holiday pancake molds.
I am soooo LOVING this forum -- a wealth of info in just the few days I have joined!
