Butterscotch brownie mix in a jar

These are really yummy!!

Butterscotch Brownie Mix in a Jar
1/2 cup firmly packed flaked coconut
3/4 cup chopped pecans
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 cups flour mixed with 1-1/2 TBSP baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt
Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-qt. wide mouth jar. Press each layer
firmly in place before adding the next ingredient.
Attach recipe to the jar.

BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES
1. Empty jar of brownie mix into large mixing bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
2. Add:
3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, not diet, very soft
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
3. Mix until completely blended.
4. Spread batter into a sprayed 9x13-inch baking pan.
5. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Cool 15 minutes in baking pan. Cut brownies inti 1-1/2 inch squares.

here is another butterscott one



Hustle-Bustle Butterscotch-Oatmeal

1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup packed dark brown sugar
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1 cup baking mix (Jiffy, Bisquick,etc.)
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1 more cup baking mix
Layer and pack ingredients in canning jars in the order given.
Attach recipe:
Hustle-Bustle Butterscotch-Oatmeal Cookies
Empty contents of jar into a medium mixing bowl. Stir in 1
stick (1/2 cup) of melted butter or margarine, 1 large egg and 1
tsp. vanilla until well-combined. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on
baking sheets coated with cooking spray or parchment paper. Bake at
375 for 10-12 minutes or until cookies are golden brown. Makes 2-1/2
dozen cookies.
