Happy Anniversary DeBora tho' late. On the 18th of next month would have been our 27th yr anniversary had God not called him home.

My 5th Anniversary will be next Friday June 26th. We lived together for 8 yrs before we got married. Dh and I both have previously been married. We have kids from our other marriage not together. But sense we both had full custody of our children. My children were 2, 3 and 6 when we met. His son was 12. We raised them together. In good and bad times.

We will be married 17 years July 11th...and together almost 22 years...and the past year has been the pits as most of you know...but its getting better and stronger every day...
We were both married before...me with 3 kids and him with 2...and 7 grandkids now...
In Canada if you are living common-law for 3 months you are entitled to half of everything he or she has...3 months living together is considered married...

Well Ladies, Hubby and I have been married 44 years, last December 14th. We had good and bad times. What kept us together in the bad times? To broke to get a divorce and he who filed got all (4) the kids! lol

June 14th we had our 41st anniv. We have 4 grown children and 9 grandchildren. Our first child was twins and didn't know until they were born that was back before ultrasounds.
We have had good times and not so happen times I want call them bad because they were all learning expierences.
On being married YES I do think you should get married for financal security and medical reason also. I agree have a small private marriage ceremony. And make sure you know where your paper work on you home is so you can prove you are the owner.
Marriage is a huge comittment, one that has many ups and downs. Get support and advice here.
