| No, I didn't marry my 1st love,THANK GOD!!!! He turned out to be such a jerk!!!! I would have had the messiest divorce had I of married him. I met him when I was 11 and we were friends til I was about 15 and then we dated off and on til I was I think 23. We even were engaged at 1 time, almost took off to get married and have a son together.Then thankfully I woke up and the Good Lord didn't let me make the biggest mistake of my life!
Then I met my dh and we've been together since. This year will be 12yrs. of marriage. He is my best friend too! I can tell him anything good or bad.That's what I love most about him, we can talk and he never judges or makes decisions without me. We are a team! I will admitt we've had our troubles as everyone does, but you just stick it out and work together.
I thank God everyday for my dh as if I hadn't met him who knows where I would've ended up.
He is a wonderful father to my 2 sons from the ex and our 2 kids. He's always been there for them and treats them all as his.
My older boys Dad has never come around much and my boys were only 5 and 3 when I met my dh, so my dh basically raised them with me.
