Divorce lawyers

Do most divorce lawyers allow you to pay with credit card? or do most accept only cash or check?

My friend is filing for divorce and she doesnt have much money but would be able to use her credit card.

Thankfully, I have had no experience with divorce lawyers. I would imagine that there are some that accept credit cards and some that would accept property. I am sure none of them would charge her if she called them on the phone and asked what payment methods they accepted. Good luck to your friend!

I work for a one attorney firm, and for a lot of us smaller guys, the monthly fees associated with having the credit card system are not worth it, so we don't have it. If her attorney is one like this, she can always get a cash advance at a bank, or use one of the cash advance checks the credit card for sending payment. {Edited by Assistant Administrator for spam. You can always apply for legal aid too.It varies on the state and who actally can get it.
