new ideas for my massage business

Things are slow at work. Very slow. I hope they will pick up soon. I plan on adding reflexology maybe with a hot wax treatment, still thinking about spray tanning. Any other ideas? Oh, items I sew or crochet and my handmade cards I will be selling too. I am looking for ways to make my business POP.

Are you advertising in a local paper? Maybe a coupon or something like that.

Some places will serve tea and /or a healthy snack of sorts as a way to begin, end the relaxation time. Another one offers products that are used at their site (if available) - lotions, oils, teas, candles, etc

I don't have a kitchen. I have thought about lemon water but without a fridge that would be difficult.

I did think about giving one massage away a week to new clients. I can do this on my blog or facebook. Trying to figure out details. This would be for new clients not clients I already see. Maybe have them pm me a idea for my massage business as a entry? Maybe sign up? Think I would rather do this on face book than my blog.... Need to think out details. Will be calling the local paper about submitting articles about massage. I have tons of stuff I have written just need to find it. Also will be writing some sort of brochure to hand out. I need to educate people on what massage is, what it can do for you, the different types of massage.

Giving flyers to local doctors and dentists would be a good idea, they can give the flyers out to their paitents that they think would medically benefit.

I have done that plus I have given out gift certificates to professionals.
