Good idea. I'll ask her to put it on here but it might take her a few days because of homework, piano lessons and her paper route. She read your reply and went to school just beaming You made her day. Thank you!

One place to go for surveys that pay is veiwpoint forum. You take surveys accumulated points and then they pay out for the points. You have to accumulated 375 points before the first payout but that is worth $10.

Also I am a member of my points.com you read email, shop, and fill out surveys to accumulated points. Although they do not send checks in the mail they send out gift cards for places like red lobster, kmart, walmart, jcpenney and on and on and on. There are lots of stores to choose from.

by the way at my points so far i have received $40 in Red Lobster gift cards, $50 in Kmart gift cards and $50 in Walmart gift cards. We painted several rooms in our new house with the kmart card and did some remodeling in our bedroom with the walmart cards. Of course it is quite obvious what we did with the red lobster cards.

I do the "My points", too. It's taking a while to accumalate points because I never buy anything, just get the points for checking out the sites. So far, it's all been stuff I have no interest in lol!!

I haven't had much luck doing surveys, either, but keep trying!! My biggest issue with those are all the e-mails I get now from companies. For places that "never share your info", my e-addy sure got around lol!!

I am currently working on a master pantry list--things to always have on hand. Ds1 asked a church buddy where their pantry is and was shocked to find they don't have one. This led to his mom asking me what things I would reccomend keeping on hand. It really made me think--a list of "must-haves". Hmm....

Of course, the two boys want stuff for cookies, and plenty of hot dogs!!

I know that this is kind of an old thread but I just had to chime in. Several years ago, when my oldest was 3 or 4 years old (who is now 9) saw something at the store with a price tag hanging from it. He picked up the price tag and said, "Sixty bucks?! I'm not paying for that!" I'm sure he learned that from watching me look at prices in the store and saying stuff like that because I thought the prices were so ridiculous. I thought that I must be teaching him well. He still likes going yard saling and shopping thrift stores because he knows that it's cheaper than buying new stuff.
