Happy face Apple Butter BBQ Spareribs

4 lbs. pork spareribs----salt and pepper to taste----1 onion, quartered----16 oz. apple butter----16 oz. bottle barbecue sauce..........................................Spr inkle ribs with salt and pepper. Place ribs on rimmed baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes: drain. Slice ribs into serving size pieces and place in slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 hours. Makes 4 to 6 servings......

All I can say about this recipe is that it's DELICIOUS!

Blue Ribbon

I award a blue ribbon for Happy6 Apple Butter BBQ Ribs
recipe. Its very good. Its easy and quick to put together. The crock pot does all the work :-)
My husband really enjoyed it and told me he wants me to make it again.
