Re: Popcorn Problem

My *favorite* popcorn happens to be healthy... I've only done this in a "Whirly Pop" popcorn popper... I suppose you could do this the traditional way in a pan with a lid, too... Mix together in the pan:

Olive oil
Salt
Onion powder
Popping corn

When it's done popping, eat it as is... The olive oil gives it a "buttery" taste. And olive oil is good for you... And popping the corn in the oil with the salt and onion powder in the oil, makes the spices stick, unlike adding it after you pop it...

This is so yummy, I could eat this everyday....

Bread Chips

More good snacks are bread chips...

Take whole wheat pita bread and separate the two layers. Cut these into quarters or eighths. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 10 or 15 minutes or until crispy. Serve with salsa.

To make bagel chips, simply slice bagels very thin and bake like the pita chips, at 350 until crispy... Flavored ones are good as is, or you can eat them with low fat yogurt as a dip...

Very yummy....

Good for Breakfast or Snack

Often, for breakfast I eat low fat granola mixed with low fat yogurt. It's quick, easy, good for you, and yummy. You get both crunchy and creamy, all in one...
