Cocoa Banana Bars

2/3 cup Oat Bran hot cereal, uncooked
2/3 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
1 large mashed ripe banana
1/4 cup liquid vegetable oil margarine
3 tbsp light corn syrup
2 egg whites, slightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
TOPPING
2 tsp cocoa
2 tsp liquid vegetable oil margarine
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 to 2 1/2 tsp warm water

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray an 8" square pan with nonstick cooking spray. Combine oat bran, flour, granulated sugar and the cocoa. Add combined banana, 1/4 cup margarine, corn syrup, egg whites and vanilla and mix well. Pour into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake 23 to 25 minutes or till center is set. Cool on a wire rack and cut into bars. Store tightly covered.
Topping:
Combine 2 tsp cocoa and 2 tsp margarine and stir in powdered sugar and 1 tsp water. Gradually add remaining 1 to 1 1/2 tsp water to make a medium thick glaze, mixing well. Drizzle over brownies.
