I always made 5 meatloafs and after they were cooked I froze 4 for later use.
Since my accident . I have someone help me cook 3 or 4 kinds of pasta and bag it up in serving size bags (helps with the diet). Then put the smaller bags in a gallon freezer bag to protect them. 5or8 serving of each kind. Also do rice. Also meat. Also white sause. Just made the white sauce yesterday with dd helping.
Then I can pick a pasta or rice. Pick a meat ,chicken or pork or beef. then pick a sause ...spagetti or white or add cheese to white and have alfredo.then I can add a veggie too. I like to add spinich often.
This lets me make a varrity of meals without all the work. The spices are usualy chinese,but they can be anything.I take them out of freezer a day or two so they can thaw this is alot easier for me . I made the whit sauce different: ff half & condensed skim milk. Cornstarch and brumble and brown margerine. I like it better as it is richer tasing.
