| Almond Date Shake 1/3 cup chopped pitted dates
2 tbsp warm water
2 cups cold vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup fatfree vanilla yogurt
1 ripe banana, frozen
4 ice cubes
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg Soak the dates in a bowl with the water sprinkled on them. Let them soften about 5 minutes and then drain. Combine in a blender container the dates, almond milk, yogurt, banana, ice cubes and the nutmeg. Blend till smooth; it takes just a few seconds. Makes 4 servings
