regions of the world

I am a proud Southern and was just wondering how many of you are from the South and the North. I lived in Iowa for 3 years and had enough of the snow and cold. So I am back in good ole Tennessee. Go Vols (for you football fans like me)!!! Well, gotta get back to work.

Born in England, raised in Illinois, moved to Wisconsin when I moved out of the house at 19, plus we have lived in Nevada a couple of times. Back in chilly Wisconsin now

Born and raised in Massachusetts. After marriage and due to my husband's job promotions and relocations we have lived in Connecticut, Long Island New York, back to Connecticut, then to southeastern New York and now we will be moving to St. Louis Missouri this coming summer

I live in Cyprus in the Mediterranean, I am here with my husband who is in the Royal Air Force, we are both English from the South West of England. This is my first posting overseas and we are loving it sun, sand, sea, beautiful climate and a wonderful experience for my 3 children! My last baby, was actually born here. Unfortunately we have to go back to cold England in October! We don't know where yet, but you can bet it will be cold and wet! We are certainly lucky to have had this great experience.
As a small child we lived in Africa for a while, with my father who was also in the RAF, but I don't remember much about that! I have moved around the UK quite a bit and have travelled (on holidays) to various places overseas, when I was a girl. I would love to go to Australia, you never know we may even emmigrate there in future years!

Born and raised in Massachusetts. I hate the cold winter, but would miss spring and the autumn leaves if I moved south. Too much of a wimp to swim in the water off Cape Cod, so I go to South Carolina on vacation each year...the water there is just the right temp!

Hi!

I grew up in the north of Europe, in Sweden. I have lived in the south, east and in the middle but never in the western part of Sweden. Right now I am back in my hometown Skelleftea.

Today it is snowing and the landscape is x-mas white. And speaking of cold - if you have a recipe for freezing cole slaw please visit my thread at Canning, Freezing & Preserving.

I live in the panhandle of Texas.....have always lived in my hometown here. We have really beautiful weather at the moment, but have just come out of a really cold spell. Most folks are surprised to learn that we have the extremes of winter and summer here. Anything from ice storms/blizzards to sweltering heat. We have a saying "if you don't like the weather hang around for 15 minutes and it will change" ..... very true indeed.
