I'm in Nebraska & my son is NOT circumcised. I was not embarrassed to change his diaper & in the summer at the pool, before we leave I take off his swim trunks & put on his undies & shorts pool side. Of course it's quick & there's not usually too many people around or even looking. (He's 3)
I think I heard some comments from family members and some friends, but frankly, I didn't pay attention. I make the choices for my son now & what I believe is in his best interest. I breast fed, I co-slept, carried him in a sling, all the things that people like to criticize you about. I just blew them all off, or smiled & thanked them for sharing their thoughts and did what I thought was best.
