We of course always go to the Ohio State Fair, we live just a couple exits up from it. This weekend was the "Good Guys" car show, what a huge amount of traffic I couldn't even get across Hudson street it was so heavy. I think they said they had 6000 cars there, whew!
We are in the craft business and have 2 consignment booths in Logan, Ohio at The Artisan Mall, so we spend a good amount of time in Logan going hiking in Old Mans Caves, stopping at the Flea Markets, eating at Der Dutchmans for lunch ( awesome menu and good prices).
And again in Columbus, we have so much to do... we always try to make it to The Columbus Zoo. We also have beautiful state and city parks and we enjoy walking the trails.

I personally haven't been to the Ohio State Fair in about 10 years. Would not mind going again but hubby hates big crowds. Our Delaware County Fair is a lot smaller and so close to our house. We did not get to go to our fair last year because I had our son and the fair started a week later. Hope to go this year.
We try to go to the Zoo every year and 2 years ago we went to the Olentangy Caverns. That was really cool. Literally!! It maintains a constant 50-some degree temperature underground.
We also love to go on the train ride in Nelsonville on the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway.
I have lived in Ohio all my life and I do not think I could live anywhere else!!!
