I live in Delaware, Ohio...originally from Westerville. I am glad we have the Ohio board going again!!!

Ohio State Fair is coming up and many other communities are having their county fair's. Ohio has so much to do during the summer.

What kind of summer events do you go to around Ohio?

Erin

We of course always go to the Ohio State Fair, we live just a couple exits up from it. This weekend was the "Good Guys" car show, what a huge amount of traffic I couldn't even get across Hudson street it was so heavy. I think they said they had 6000 cars there, whew!

We are in the craft business and have 2 consignment booths in Logan, Ohio at The Artisan Mall, so we spend a good amount of time in Logan going hiking in Old Mans Caves, stopping at the Flea Markets, eating at Der Dutchmans for lunch ( awesome menu and good prices).

And again in Columbus, we have so much to do... we always try to make it to The Columbus Zoo. We also have beautiful state and city parks and we enjoy walking the trails.

We recently spent the weekend in Columbus. Visited the Zoo and COSI. Unfortuntly it was a last minute deal so missed meeting Anna!

Next weekend they have the Tall Ships downtown Cleveland on the water we may be going to that.

We have a great Zoo in Cleveland its bigger than the one in Columbus but I did enjoy that one!

There is also the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that I live probaly 10 miles from and have yet to visit....

I personally haven't been to the Ohio State Fair in about 10 years. Would not mind going again but hubby hates big crowds. Our Delaware County Fair is a lot smaller and so close to our house. We did not get to go to our fair last year because I had our son and the fair started a week later. Hope to go this year.

We try to go to the Zoo every year and 2 years ago we went to the Olentangy Caverns. That was really cool. Literally!! It maintains a constant 50-some degree temperature underground.

We also love to go on the train ride in Nelsonville on the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway.

I have lived in Ohio all my life and I do not think I could live anywhere else!!!
