Pet peeve................... would have to be those people who put their indicators on to turn into a street but turn 2 or 3 streets further down.
Kids who put thier dirty clothes beside the dirty clothes basket.
Noisy neighbours after 11pm.

Barbara - gosh, that's to bad that your son had to go through that. You'd think they would of figured that out right away. I hope he has better luck!

well I finally got it all tooken care of I thought today got the phone bill and guess what, they are still changing me for Yahoo thru sbc global.
so any one that gets yahoo thru the sbc should watch their bills very careful.
I will have to call Wed to find out why they are still changing me when I shouldn't be.
they did credit me for amost 40. and then turned around and change me for 15.99 beats me.

Carol thank I know you would think so, and it wasted their time as well. some things don't have a explanion to it.
we have taught him things don't always go the way we want and he took it very well just frustrated which I can't blame him, for it would had frustated me too.

As the old saying goes that Life but Life is a box of ceral. LOL

kids' respsonsabilities

Dd#1 has a very good friend who rarely follows through with things and it is driving me NUTS !

Some things that recently have happened:
Friend was a stagehand in new Jr. High play. When she found out some other friends were actually going to be there (OMG would see her on stage...) she suddenly got a tummy ache and could not be there 1 hr b4 the play!

Having hard time getting long project done in time (1 month to complete it) so her mom called her in sick the day it was due.

6" snow forcasted so friend got to stay home from school.

Mom admits she probably shouldn't let her watch tv when get home from school and do hw first.

Dd was at her house yesterday for a few hours. Came home today telling me that friend was "sick" today. Was the high temp of 4 too much...? Dd called to ask if she was really sick she seemed ok last night.

The mom has a habit of cancelling plans at last min too.
I told dd that if she ever forgot to do hw or finish a project she would have to go to school anyway.

These are normally fun and decent people so what gives? I think this is hurting everyone in the long run and teaches them that "running away" is ok to do. Right?
But maybe "its just me".

My pet peeves are

1) Kids forgetting to put the toilet seat down.

2) People ignoring you, for now reason.

3) Parents letting their children play out til all sorts of hours.

4) Neighbours intruding into your home, here in Lancashire.

These are the ones i can think of.

I agree with you mumoftwo. Do you have neighbors who just come right in? My dh family does that sometimes, I hate it!
