Christmas Tree "Recycling"

When you take down your Christmas tree this year take it to a compost facility where it will be turned into mulch! Check out 911.com to find a spot near you!

12-25-2012 update: 911.com is no longer a site to find a place to recycle your Christmas tree! You'll have to check out locally to see where you can recycle it!

That is a neat idea! I just hate it when I see the trees going into trash; there are so many other ways to use them! Thank you for taking the time to do something good with yours!

Down here it's very seldom that you see a spruce of balsum tree, but I was lucky to find one on the side of the road. I'm taking the needles and making sachets from them. Will use the rest for fire wood.

Great recycling! Bet that wood will smell really good when you use as firewood!
