My big sis is coming to visit.She lives far North in Chicago and live far South of Chicago,about 3hrs. I haven't seen her in a long while.We a lot and she came to viist when I was in IC but I don't remember any of it.

Not sure this year but usually go with Stacie to the cookout her church has. But her car is "in the hospital" and we are not sure when it will be out. But always enjoy the fellowship when I do go there.

No special plans here. Just stay home and relax or get caught up on house projects that need to be done. Such as painting porch floor, painting trim on upstairs windows, new frame for shed window, etc.

I will be doing the same thing I do every Labor Day.
There is a Holy Ghost feast at a nearby Portuguese club. It is a five day carnival (the first parade/day is tomorrow the rest are the holiday weekend) with 4 daytime parades, 1 nighttime parade, Portuguese food, rides, games, and my favorite...the auction. I sit at the auction on Sunday night and Monday afternoon and evening. I get some good deals. One year I got an arborvite plant about 3 ft tall by 1 1/2ft wide for only $7.50. In a nursery, that would have cost over $40.
This year we will also be going to a nearby park on the Sunday to have a cookout/birthday party for my best friend's hubby.

Labor Day is usually pretty laid back at our house.
Dh will have chores for sure. I might try to tackle that last closet I didn't get done on vacation.
Tyler (Ds1) and Paige (Dd1) are planning on coming home sometime during the weekend, so I will probably be cooking too.
